Veterans and other patriots helping Veterans deal with P.T.S.D., Anxiety, and Depression.
We as a cigar community come together and to enjoy cigars and each other’s company. The bonds that are built here are genuine and help each of us fight our own demons.
Herfs, are digital video meetings that we schedule bi-weekly with the Joint Chiefs hosting. We also have open herfs where anyone can hop on and create a herf, the goal being no one should smoke a cigar alone.
The “VotL” community has been structured on a participation based system. Meaning, no one person handles anything alone, each person who is on the discord pulls their minimum weight. By doing this, we have set up monthly “VotL” community raffles to put money into the organizations funds and even the expenses across the board. We typically have multiple winners per monthly raffle, prizes typically are cigars or swag related to cigars but occasionally we will have military related items to offer up for prizes.
We have occasional meet-ups where members get together in person and smoke cigars. We also work with our friends in the industry and do events that help the shop or cigar brand along with bringing light to the veteran community.

Veterans of the Leaf is designed to be lead by a team, we call our team the Joint Chiefs. The Joint Chiefs are those who have chosen to taken on extra responsibility in the club, we keep ourselves and others accountable.

Transparency, Accountability, Honor, Respect and Integrity are the core values of our "VotL" community. These standards apply to everyone in all aspects of life, it doesn't matter if anyone is watching or not. We, the "VotL" stand for these values and do not waiver.
Cooperative Spirit
The camaraderie that is built here is what drives us to continue with the spirit of what can you do, for the "VotL" community and for it's members. The "VotL" community is not built for what the individual thinks they should get out of it but what they can bring to help others who may be in need.
Passion for Veterans
As many of us are Veterans, we hold each other to a higher standard. We will push each other to excel in life, to fight off the demons within and stand with each other when those demons are on the forefront.
